HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
The concept of Hit Hero began at the tail end of COVID when the founder of the company, Justin Rattray who is an avid baseball player, suffered a painful hand injury while playing and needed to use a batting grip to keep playing without any discomfort.
Frustrated by the uncomfortable and clunky traditional grips on the market, they embarked on a journey to create something better - a batting grip that truly feels like an extension of your own hand.
After painstakingly crafting almost 50 different variations and gathering invaluable feedback from fellow players, Hit Hero V1 was born at the beginning of 2023.
Our patented 3D designed batting grip officially launched in March 2023, and quickly gained traction within regional leagues in Canada, and has since expanded globally, as well being embraced and tested by University Players, MLB Teams including the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays and more. Hit Hero has been also been showcased by well-known baseball influencers and game changers, including the amazing Savannah Bananas league.
