WHAT IS HIT HERO MADE OF?

Hit Hero is made from thermoplastic elastomer, a flexible, durable and shapeable (with hot water) material that absorbs shock and impact while maintaining a natural feel in the hand.

Hit Hero is built to handle repeated contact and abuse without breaking snapping or stretching.

HOW DO I WEAR A HIT HERO?

Hit Hero can be worn on the thumb or index finger, inside or outside, based entirely on player preference and where you feel the most impact.

We made it this way intentionally. Wear it for what feels right for you.

Every hitter swings differently. Hit Hero is designed to work with your natural grip, not against it.

DOES HIT HERO COME IN DIFFERENT SIZES?

Currently Hit Hero is designed as a one-size fits all system, and can be re-sized by using the shaping method.

For the best fit, we recommend Hit Hero for players aged 12+

HOW DO I SHAPE THE HIT HERO V2

A: It’s easy! Just heat, mold, and set:

Boiling Water Method:

Place in boiling water for 1-2 minutes
Carefully remove, and shape it with a towel. Hold in Place for :30s
Keep holding in place, then flash under cold water to set

Microwave Method:

Place HH in a bowl of water in a microwave safe dish, and microwave for 1-2 minutes
Carefully remove from dish, and shape it with a towel. Hold in Place for :30s
Keep holding in place, then flash under cold water to set for :30s

We Recommend Ice Water to Lock in the Shape!

WILL HIT HERO FIT A YOUTH PLAYER ?

Hit Hero is designed to be size only and fits players 12 and up through adult.

It is used by players from youth travel ball, all the way through the MLB level. Same size.

We are working on a Hit Hero Junior version, and will announce this in due time. Follow our newsletter to stay updated.

IS HIT HERO LEGAL IN LITTLE LEAGUE?

Yes! As of 2026, Hit Hero is officially allowed in Little League Baseball and all other leagues.

Thumb guards in general are legal at all levels including youth, high school, college, and professional play. They are considered batting accessories, similar to batting gloves, and are widely used across the game.
